Department of Cultural Affairs Graz

Located in Graz, the capital of Styria, the Department of Cultural Affairs assumes the position of the missing link in a network between local artists and cultural initiatives on the one hand and political decision makers on the other hand. The main purpose of this network is to inform the general public about the cultural diversity in Graz.

Graz did not become the Cultural Capital of Europe out of the blue. In fact the city has been thriving for a long time on the variety and creativity of its large cultural community.
